PRO-LIFE, PRO-FAMILY
Ben agrees with the National Right to Life’s stance on abortion. He will support legislation that will protect the unborn in Georgia. Ben believes that abortion should be illegal except in instances of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother.
SECOND AMENDMENT
Ben strongly supports the Second Amendment and will defend our right to bear arms.
REPEAL AND REPLACE OBAMACARE
Dr. Ben Watson has worked as a primary care physician in Savannah since 1988. He has the personal dedication to protect the health of Georgia families.
If elected to serve us, Ben would be the one of the few doctors in the General Assembly. His experience as a doctor makes him uniquely qualified to be a strong voice for Georgians as we work to turn bad laws into good healthcare policy.
As our Senator, Ben will work to protect our patient rights and stop the nationalization of health care. He’ll protect patients first, not bureaucrats.
• Provide direct knowledge – Ben is one out of two in the General Assembly with the day-to-day knowledge of how healthcare really operates in this country.
• Stop explosion of Medicaid – Fight to stop the federal government from exploding state-funded Medicaid.
• Legal defense – Support Governor Deal in his appeal of the National Healthcare Plan. We must protect the rights of Georgians.
PROMOTE A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR JOB GROWTH
Ben will fight to reduce government interference, reduce taxes, and encourage investment.
IMPROVE SAVANNAH AREA
Ben will work to improve Savannah area infrastructure and roads.
RETURN MORE AUTHORITY
Ben will return more authority for educational decisions to local communities and empower teachers, not bureaucracy.
SUPPORTING THE NEW SKIDAWAY BRIDGE
Ben will strongly support the new replacement for the Skidaway Bridge. Ben will work for state support of this plan.
SUPPORTING A LONG TERM BEACH RENOURISHMENT PROGRAM.
As Senator, Ben will continue the fight for beach protection and renourishment.
REAL HEALTH CARE LEADERSHIP
Ben Watson would be one of the few doctors in the Georgia legislature. We need another doctor in the Senate.
